John R. Gray III is a Pacific Northwest artist.  He has been showing his artwork at science fiction art shows nationally since 1982.  Awards include; Best Fantasy, Best Color, Most Unusual Concept and Best Use Of Humor.  He is a member of “The Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (ASFA).
His primary medium is acrylics applied with traditional brushwork, airbrush and just about anything else that will work to achieve the desired feel for a given piece.  The majority of his artwork is done on masonite or hot pressed illustration board but occasionally canvas or canvas board is used to compliment the subject matter.
